Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. Of course my first is Christmas, followed by Easter. Although third place on my list it’s an important holiday because it is a time to give thanks. The Holy Word tells us to give thanks in all things, but in this society we are so busy looking to get, get, get (especially during Christmas time), that we forget to give thanks.

Ephesians 5:2 says “….Always giving thanks to God The Father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” We ought to give thanks first and foremost to Jesus who saved us. We also ought to thank Him that we wake up every morning. Yes some of us have illnesses and other trials, but we wake up every day to make a difference. Thirdly I thank Him for family and friends. I Know some family can test us to no end and a visit from them once a year is too much, but I find the holiday season to be the best time to let the love of Jesus shine. I also thank Him for you. Sister circle talk show has the best fans in the world. You are the reason why I do the show. You are most loving and encouraging and I thank you.
