           Meet Terrance Daye

Terrance is an ordained Elder who strives to live by the word of God in character and deed. He has a Bachelor's degree and a Master's Degree from Five Towns College in Music Education. Terrance has also attended Nyack Bible College, Trinity College of the Bible & Theological Seminary and The Bible Institute, and continues to work toward his doctorate in theology. He has served in ministry at various churches throughout New York as well as in schools, hospitals, and prisons.   He has conducted seminars for various churches in the north- east, mid and southern regions of the country, including as part of his missionary work in Jamaica, West Indies. For the past fifteen years.                                                                                                                    

Terrance has and continues to serve as Assistant and then Director of Music for the St. Alban's Congregational Church in Queens, New York. He is also a New York State certified music teacher currently teaching at the Malverne Middle School in Long Island. He has taught all grade levels and has a special gift to inspire young people. Terrance has shared this gift with the community by working with numerous soloists and choirs, including the Queens Symphony Orchestra’s Youth Choir, and has played at many concert halls, most notably Carnegie Hall and the Apollo Theater.

He has written numerous songs throughout his music career and his debut CD/ songbook, We Need Your Presence, is frequently heard on radio stations all over the country. Two of his songs were featured in independent films, and one was the winner of an “Agape Music Award.” In addition, he has been named in "Who’s Who" among teachers nationally. He has played for numerous bipartisan legislative leaders, at numerous bipartisan political events, and at the   1997 televised NAACP National Convention. Terrance has also taught leaders and other musicians at the Gospel Music Workshop of America in Nashville, TN, and has played with many well-known recording artists such as Babbie Mason, Donnie McClurkin, V. Michael McKay, Rev. Jackie McCullough, Hezekiah Walker, Yolanda Adams and Steve Green to name a few.

In April 2005, Terrance was ordained as an Elder in the Church of God in Christ by Bishop Eric Figeroa and Bishop David Corbett along with a host of Bishops, Pastors, Elders and congregants. In 2007, God expanded Terrance's vision beyond music ministry to found the Christian Life Center Church (CLCC). Located in Suffolk County, New York, CLCC is growing to be a beacon of light to a lost world by providing individuals, families and ultimately communities with the necessary tools for successful Christian living. CLCC’s purpose is to spread the word of God, foster the worship of God, teach faith in God and promote the family of God. The CLCC vision also includes reaching out to the community to improve health, education, spiritual awareness, and to inspire self-help and volunteerism in the community.  Rev. Daye’s prayer is for God to be glorified as he lives by the word, is enabled by the Holy Spirit, and serves as a Christian example and inspiration to others. Rev. Daye lives in New York with his wife and four children.
